The Platform for Smart Home Owners
Terragrids runs a virtual world, where homeowners are allocated part of the estate, and given a token on the blockchain to uniquely identify their place.
Homeowners can develop their place adding trackers which monitor the energy balance of their smart home: consumption, renewable generation, electric vehicles, heat pump performance, etc.
All data flows coming from the trackers are saved using unique, tamper-proof transactions on the fastest and greenest blockchain: Algorand.
Homeowners will be able to share this data as proof of quality for their smart home and integrate with the energy network of the future.

Founder & Tech Lead
Hello! I am Lorenzo, a software engineering professional with 20+ years of experience in a large number of different software technologies, programming languages and device platforms.
I have managed and led development teams as Tech Lead, Engineering Manager and Technical Programme Manager, focusing on quality, performance and impact on people's lives.
I have worked on projects from startups to large corporations at every level of the software stack, from real-time hardware adaptation to backend, frontend, and mobile application development.
I am passionate about making things happen, from product ideas to customer adoption, always with a “lean-startup” entrepreneurial mindset.
I have always had a strong interest in renewable energy, sustainable development and tackling climate change.
Using my passion about blockchain technologies and decentralised applications I co-founded Terragrids to help preserve the world’s climate, take concrete actions to promote smart-energy homes, and enable the energy network of the future.
Irene Silvino
Founder & Design Lead
Hello! I am Irene, an illustrator, graphics designer and art director with 15+ years of experience in the industry.
I am a member of the British Association of Illustrators (AOI) and of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
I am the founder of editartz (https://editartz.com), an online creative community of illustrators from around the world that regularly share their editorial, children’s and pattern design work.
From October 2020 to December 2021, I led "Planet Posters", an art project in partnership with One Planet Conservation Awareness - 12 months’ focus on the environment: https://www.editartz.com/projects/planet-posters.
Apart from drawing, I love cooking, reading, photography, walking and spending time in nature with my family.
Following my passion for nature conservation and sustainability, I co-founded Terragrids as the Design Lead.
